is it the new lamp? is it the street light?

Is it the moon? Nope, just a spotlight for a location shoot for one of the movies currently filming in Shreveport!

We have quite the beacon of light coming through our living room window (located on the back of the house)...very strange for this time of night. Luckily our neighbors across the street are very aware of what goes on around here because, I'm ashamed & embarrassed to say, I didn't even notice! They called to check and see if I knew what was going on and I just thought they were seeing the light from a cool new lamp I bought today at Target. Apparently, I just assumed it was another quality find at my favorite store!

After speculating on the phone with my neighbor (let's see, it could be a movie shoot or maybe they found a dead body in the field!), dragging my exhausted and half unconscious husband out of bed (he thought it was a movie shoot) and calling our local Sheriff’s office, it was determined that it, more than likely, is a location shoot for one of the many movies currently filming in our area. How cool is that?!? Sure do wish I knew which one so I could try and scope out the shot that was filmed, basically, in our back yard!!!

Life in Shreveport is anything but dull....
