“breaking” news

Lee and I just found out that Jordan broke her arm yesterday. We came home from grocery shopping to find a message on our answering machine with a pitiful little voice telling us she’d broken her arm and just wanted us to know. Lee immediately called her and learned she had quite a trying evening last night. Apparently, around 5 o’clock she was out riding an electric scooter she received as a gift on a concrete area at home, fell off and broke her left arm (by her wrist). They took her to the emergency room where they determined they’d have to do surgery to re-set it. Poor thing!!!! She even spent the night in the hospital!!!

She'll have to wear the cast for four - six weeks and isn't really looking forward to it! I’m not sure if she’s checking her email or not but a little note may brighten her spirits. Luckily we’ll be seeing her in six days so Lee can give her the great big hug he wishes he could give her right now.

Here's a picture of our injured one when all of of her limbs were in working order. This was taken in Lake Tahoe last summer at the top of Heavenly when JK (cousin Jordan) got her to go "rock climbing" with him. She was really nervous but did it anyway and loved it! We were so proud of her for trying something new. Now we need to get her arm healed so she can try more new things when we're on vacation this summer!

Hugs and kisses to everyone and I hope there are no other broken bones out there in “family & friends” land!
