If we had more tolerable summer weather (i.e. not as hot & sticky) and less pesky mosquitoes, I just know we'd eat outside more. Regardless of what you're eating, it always seems to taste better in the fresh air. If we lived somewhere that offered bright sun, cool breezes, and low humidity the majority of the summer I can assure you I'd have a hard time not buying out Anthropologie's "dining alfresco" section. The colors are just so cheerful and I know they'd make me, along with any guests we may be fortunate to have, happy just looking at them. So for those of you that do live in such a climate, go forth and buy to your heart's content. I'll just have to live vicariously through you!

dining alfresco {anthro style}

How happy these make me feel just looking at them - let alone eating on and among them....Just remember, you can have a "picnic" in the kitchen alcove even when the weather doesn't cooperate - just let the sunshine in....MOM
