I realize most of you aren't as enamored with John Stamos as I am but given my 25+ year crush, I couldn't let today pass without mentioning his Lifetime movie airing tomorrow night. I have no idea what the movie is about. All I know is that he's in it and that's enough to have me running to add to our Tivo list. Seriously, all I care is that he's in it.
Ten years old and I had my room plastered with his posters. I literally cried when he was put in jail [on General Hospital], endured several years watching him in failed sitcoms [Dreams, You Again?], random tv movies, and not so stellar movies before he once again graced my tv screen on a weekly basis in Full House. I know it was a cheesy show but seeing him was enough to make me tune in...even in high school and college [I can't believe I just admitted that!] He toured with the Beach Boys while I lived in Tahoe and I went to see the show. Just being in the same room with him made my knees buckle. I know, I know...that's crazy. All I can say is he's been my one celebrity crush throughout my life and he will be the only celebrity that can truly render me speechless if I ever have the opportunity to meet him.
When he joined ER a couple seasons ago I tuned back into the show I'd stopped watching several years prior. I've really enjoyed watching him, along with all the other amazing actors, each week and as I mentioned before, I'm sad this is their last season. I just hope he ends up in another fantastic project that allows me to continue watching, and drooling. Lucky for me, he's aged extremely well!

I, too, think he looks "better than ever". He certainly did age well. Uh, Uh, Blue eyed bride didn't tell us her celebrity crush, but I will. This was a LONG time ago, but mine was Ricky Nelson when I was a teenager. I was devastated when he died in that plane crash (and I was an adult then!) Over the years I've had one on Kris Kristofferson and Kenny Rogers. Oh, and Kevin
Costner. I must be "fickle"! Hmmmmmm........
Like your Mom, I also have a few. George Clooney, James McAvoy and Robert Downey Jr. Did you ever see RDJ in that movie with Marisa Tomei? Mama mia....I know he's had his personal ups and downs, but I could watch him in that movie ALL day long. Same goes for James M in "The Last King of Scotland." I won't embarass myself by announcing some of my other, earlier celeb crushes, but you know who they are (and have hassled me relentlessly because of them!)
I'm with Sadie! My #1 celeb crush since 1993 has been Robert Downey Jr! That movie was Only You, which was my favorite movie until Moulin Rouge knocked it off a few years ago. But RDJ continues to be my #1 love - then Christian Bale follows right behind, as does Harry Connick Jr. Yummy.
