1. Excited to be heading to San Diego this weekend to celebrate my grandma's 85th birthday. This is the third time the gals in my family have made a weekend out of it and I'm looking forward to some good quality girl time. I'll be with my grandma {obviously}, mom, sister, aunt, and cousin. Let the good times begin!
2. I'm hosting bunko a day after I get home so today will be spent doing some serious cleaning in preparation for 12 women descending on my happy abode.
3. Learning who my true friends are these days. Sad to see some aren't as real as I thought but happy to know the truth.
4. Spent my time at the hospital yesterday helping them get ready for their big Halloween celebration and feeding the sweetest little baby girl. While in the NICU I thought a lot about Abbie and her sweet baby, Finley. Really hoping & praying that he continues to get bigger & stronger so he can go home soon.
5. Had a lovely, relaxing evening at home for our anniversary celebration. Lee was in charge of taking care of dinner and fed me a yummy filet, twice-baked potato, and asparagus. He even followed it up with a variety of cupcakes {one of which was "wedding cake" - how fitting!} He knows me so well.
6. Hoping to come up with a similar cleaning plan to Heather's. I really need to find a way to stay on top of the mess that we {somehow} make. Seriously, you wouldn't think that two people + two cats could cause such a mess!
7. Currently reading Freedom and having a hard time getting through it. Some parts have been quick page turners and others have been really hard. Holding out on my opinion until I finally finish. Has anyone read it? Did you like it?
8. Loving this new color from Le Creuset. Isn't it pretty?
9. Tried a new OPI color for my mani/pedi and don't think I'm liking it all that much. What's your favorite nail color for Fall?
10. We're still playing catch up on our favorite shows from being gone and I'm bummed that I've yet to see John Stamos on Glee. For those of you that regularly watch, how's he doing? Hot as ever??
11. Need to find a fun/fancy dress for a big fundraiser event in December. I'm taking any & all suggestions and would love to see any links you want to throw my way. This is the one I wore last time.
12. Really need to have our carpets cleaned but not looking forward to the mess those guys make in the process. Have any of you rented one of the machines yourself? Are they hard to use?
13. Excited to plan Thanksgiving this year {my dad and step-mom are visiting} and already have Christmas cards on my mind. I hope I'm not the only one thinking ahead!
That's it for me. What's going on in your life?

Jealous of all of the travel that you get to do!! Have fun this weekend. Great list!
love the list...#3 makes me sad!
I've been thinking about Christmas cards as well! I'm waiting for Rock, Scissor, Paper to come out with theirs. Waiting...
love the simplicity of this dress with the surprise of color at the waist:http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=19396787&parentid=QUICKSHOP&navAction=jump
Although my husband may have some fashion sense, he's not looking at dresses for you to wear to the fundraiser. Guess the Google account is in his name.....Shel
