7 years ago today...

...I married my best friend and the love of my life. Things haven't always been easy but, you know what, I'm thankful for that. Struggling through the challenges wasn't fun or easy but, ultimately, they've brought us closer together and have allowed us to create an even stronger bond. Lee put it best in the love letter he gave me last year on our anniversary, "We are on a journey TOGETHER! That doesn't mean it will always be easy or without challenge, but knowing that we will always do it together is the best feeling I know."

He is my partner, my love, and my best friend. I love him with everything I have and as I think back to our wedding day I'm overwhelmed with feelings of joy. Because we wanted to get married surrounded by the splendor of fall color we planned the wedding in a matter of five months {I must have been crazy!} Even though it was planned relatively quickly it was perfect. Everything about that day represented us and I'm so thankful we were able to share that joy with our family & friends. I still laugh remembering how our photographer called us the "kissingest couple" she'd ever known {love that!}

Thank you, Lee, for being the most amazing husband. I knew I was a lucky girl seven years ago when I said "I do" but I had no idea just how lucky + blessed I truly was. Thank you for being my partner and for always being on my team. I love you so very much!
