I decided to try "project 365" this year and take a picture each day to document our year. I think this was started to encourage people to practice their photography by taking a picture each day. So far I haven't used it to practice my photography so much, really just documenting our daily life with my phone. Given my current love of the instagram app I'm using that before uploading my pictures to flickr. If you're at all interested in checking out how my month looks so far all you have to do is click here.I'll definitely be using my other cameras for this project but, so far, my iphone has provided the perfect convenience to get me snapping away.
::the above photo was taken january 11 as we enjoyed dinner with some friends who were sweet enough to share an amazing bottle of wine from their extensive collection with us

There you go with another idea I want to try. WE're only 17 days into the year and I'll bet I have at least one for every day so far. What will you do with them? I'm picturing a spread in the annual album, 365 pictures worth...
a St. Francis Cab isn't a bad option at all... Try Sebastiani sometime...highly recommended and the only Napa/Sonoma wine club we are currently in.
