{virtual} shopping date
Ok, my friends, I need your help. I have a Anthropologie gift card burning a hole in my pocket (thanks to my sweet MIL) and to make it even better I can save 15% off one purchase this month since it's my "birth month" (I have an Anthro card). Imagine we're shopping and I find myself torn between two things, both are very me yet really couldn't be more different. I'm totally stuck and need your help.

An Anthro card is great! I say skip the cardi -- horizontal stripes in that length of a cardi aren't flattering. The cookie jar is adorable. I say buy something you wouldn't normally buy that will make you smile every time you see it!

And here's why...you could possibly have that cookie jar forever. You will smile every time you see it (every day) and it is too cute! The cardi (while cute) can't be worn every day and will eventually not be fashionable. :-)
however (I should disclose), I'm really bad at splurging on clothes...esp. for myself.
I say the Owl, too. For all the reasons these wonderful ladies have already mentiomed. That owl really makes me smile!

I too agree the owl is very cute. However, did you not say that you wanted to eat healthy? Seriously...cookies?? I vote cardigan. It is really you!
But, Connie, you don't have to actually put cookies in it.....it just sits on the counter and looks adorable. (HOwever, the sweather really IS Cyndi)
You would have to have a pair of boots to go with that sweater, so that would be two purchases. The owl is darned cute and would look great in your kitchen!
Owl all the way! It can be a part of you forever whereas the cardi can't because it might get a hole in it or go out of style or you might accidently get bleach on it *gasp*
I totally agree with all the OWL comments. I love it..the sweater not so much.
